Andrew Hoffman

Andrew Hoffman is a Principal on the Infrastructure Credit team within Carlyle’s Global Credit platform.  He is responsible for the proprietary deal origination, execution, and management of high yield, mezzanine, and investment grade investments in power & renewables, energy, water & waste, transportation, and digital sub-sectors.   

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hoffman was a Vice President at Macquarie Investment Management, where he focused on high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and investment grade bonds in the power & utilities and energy sectors. Prior to that, he held various corporate finance, deal structuring, and origination roles at Exelon Generation, PPL Energy Supply, and Edison Mission Energy. 

Mr. Hoffman received his BA in finance and government from Franklin & Marshall College and currently serves on the college’s Leadership Council. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of New York.
